What are recyclates?
Recyclates are recycled plastics from post-consumer waste. These plastics have already been disposed as part of household or commercial waste at least once after beeing used.
LDPE film grades
LDPE (low density polyethylene) is polyethylene with highly branched polymer chains, which have a lower density (0.915 to 0.935 g / cc). LDPE is flexible and durable, highly resistant to chemicals, allows little water vapor and is odorless and tasteless. These features make it the preferred raw material for LDPE packaging film of all kinds.
Polyethylene belongs to the group of polyolefins and is produced by chaining of ethylene to a thermoplastic. It feels waxy and has a milky color in undyed state. Polyethylene burns with a dripping bright flame, where the smell is similar to that of a candle flame.

HDPE pipe grades
HDPE (high density polyethylene) is polyethylene with slightly branched polymer chains, resulting in a higher density (0.94 to 0.97 g / cc). Due to the higher density, HDPE is harder and stiffer than LDPE. It is resistant to high temperatures and extremely resistant to chemicals, which is why it is used for things like bottles (shampoo, beverages, cleaning supplies, etc.), cans, crates and pipes.
