What are recyclates?

Recyclates are recycled plastics from so-called post-consumer waste. These plastics have already been disposed of at least once after use as household or commercial waste.

Film Grades LDPE

LDPE (low-density polyethylene) is polyethylene with highly branched polymer chains, resulting in a lower density (0.915 – 0.935 g/cm³). LDPE is flexible and durable, highly resistant to chemicals, barely permeable to water vapor, and is odorless and tasteless. These properties make LDPE the preferred raw material for all types of film packaging.

Polyethylene belongs to the group of polyolefins and is a thermoplastic produced by chain polymerization of ethene. It feels waxy and, when undyed, has a milky-cloudy color. Polyethylene burns with a dripping bright flame, and the odor resembles that of a candle flame.

Pipe Grades HDPE

HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is polyethylene with weakly branched polymer chains, resulting in a higher density (0.94 – 0.97 g/cm³). Due to its higher density, HDPE is harder and stiffer than LDPE. It is more resistant to high temperatures and extremely resistant to chemicals, which is why it is used, among other things, for all kinds of bottles (e.g., shampoo, beverages, cleaning agents, etc.), as well as for canisters, beverage crates, and pipes.

PE Compound

Improves extruder productivity, bubble stability, the mechanical properties of films, and thermoformed products. Compound reduces the melt pressure in the extruder and also reduces energy consumption.

Absorber

is a batch for chemical binding of moisture for extrusion and injection molding applications. The reaction product integrates seamlessly as an inert filler into virtually any polymer matrix and helps stabilize processes, while also preventing moisture-related surface defects or declining mechanical properties of finished products.
